Hennur Road runs northeast from Kalyan Nagar toward the northern suburbs, and has seen steady residential development over the past decade. It offers a middle ground between the established (and pricier) Hebbal market and the more peripheral Devanahalli corridor.

Hennur connects to Kalyan Nagar and HBR Layout to the south and to Kothanur and Bagalur toward the north. Its proximity to both the ORR and Bellary Road gives it reasonable access to major employment hubs without being on the main arterial roads themselves.

Residential development

• Several plotted developments in the outer stretches toward Bagalur.

Infrastructure status

Hennur Main Road has undergone widening in several stretches, though some sections are still works in progress. The Hennur-Bagalur Road connects to the airport road, providing an alternative route to the north. Local commercial development is growing, with supermarkets and restaurants becoming more common along the main road.

• Road quality and width vary significantly between the southern and northern stretches. Visit the specific area before committing.
• Some projects are marketed as "Hennur" but are actually on the Bagalur or Kothanur side, which has different infrastructure realities.
• Check the municipality or panchayat jurisdiction, as this affects approvals and civic services.
